Each Bolus contains Marbofloxacin BP 50 mg.
Marbofloxacin belongs to a third third-generation fluroquinolone with broad spectrum bactericidal activity against gram gram-positive and gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma. It shows bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzyme, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.
Cattle: Marboflox is indicated for the treatment of following diseases caused by gram positive & gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma. - Acute mastitis - Respiratory infections - Diarrhoea and gastro-enteritis - Neonatal gastro-enteritis caused by Escherichia coli.
Marbofloxacin is not recommended for use in case of resistant bacteria to other Fluoroquinolones and in animals with known hypersensitivity to Marbofloxacin.
Cattle: The recommended dosage is 1 mg/kg/day (1 bolus per 50 kg body weight) in a single oral administration per day. Treatment duration is 3 days.

A greenish retroceding coloring of faeces at the end of treatment has sometimes been shown.
Marbofloxacin may be used safely during pregnancy and lactation.
Meat: The cow should be slaughtered 6 days after taking the drug.
Milk: Milk can be taken 36 hours after taking the drug.
Store at a temperature below 25 ⁰C, protect from light & keep in a dry and cool place. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Each carton contains 5X 4’s bolus in blister strip.
