Each Bolus contains Paracetamol BP 2.00 gm.
Paracetamol is an analgesic (Pain killer) and antipyretic (Reduce temperature) drug.
Livestock: Fever & pain (pain due to trauma, intestinal inflammation, post-partum pain, post-operative pain) and tissue swelling resulting from trauma, injury, burn, or any other infectious diseases as supportive therapy.
Poultry: Fever & pain caused by vaccination, debeaking & any other infectious diseases as supportive therapy.
Paracetamol Bolus should be used with caution in those animals which are renally or hepatically impaired.
Cattle: 1 bolus/130-140 kg body weight thrice daily for 3 days.
Poultry: 1 bolus/10-liter drinking water and administered 2-3 times daily for 4-5 days.
Or as directed by the Registered Veterinary Physician.
Side effects of Paracetamol Bolus are significantly mild, though hematological reactions have been reported. Pancreatitis, skin rashes and other allergic reactions occur occasionally.
Paracetamol Bolus is safe in all stages of pregnancy and lactation.
