Each ml solution contains Levofloxacin Hemihydrate USP equivalent to Levofloxacin 100 mg.
Levofloxacin is a synthetic fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent, a dependable bactericidal and mycoplasmicidal drug. It is used for the prevention and treatment of CRD. Lecovet Solution (Vet) is an antibiotic of the Quinolone group that inhibits the activity of bacterial DNA-gyrase enzyme, and causes disruption of bacterial DNA replication & thereby causing bacterial death.
Lecovet Solution (Vet) is very effective against diseases of RT, GIT & Urogenital system caused by both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, like Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Mycoplasmosis (CRD), Streptococcosis, Staphylococcosis, Pasteurellosis, Secondary bacterial infection in case of viral diseases, such as Gumboro, Ranikhet, etc.
Poultry:
Treatment-1 ml/1-2 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Prevention-1 ml/2-4 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian.
Magnesium & Aluminium containing substances may hamper the absorption of Lecovet Solution from the GI tract.
Lecovet Solution (Vet) is well tolerated for poultry at recommended dose. However, it may cause developmental cartilage abnormalities.
It should not be used in layers within 14 days prior to the laying period.
Meat & Egg: 7 days.
Store at a temperature below 30 ⁰C, protected from light & keep in a dry and cool place. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
